Rice and Sancho for England

Manchester United have improved their attack by signing Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund and finally bringing back superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

On the other hand, the Old Trafford outfit have also strengthened their defense by luring a world class player in the form of Raphael Varane. However, the Red Devils have not reinforced their midfield for a long time.

Transfer: Man Utd agree £50million contract to secure signing – Report

Declan Rice has been on the radar of Man Utd and reports suggest that Ole Gunnar Solksjaer is still hoping to hire his services in this transfer window.

According to The Independent, Ole wants to sign the West Ham United star before the deadline but without sales, the Premier League giants will not be able to sanction a fee of £100million required to complete the deal.

The renowned British source have mentioned that Rice is keen to agree a move to Man Utd and believes that it is time for him to step up in his career. Once again, it is stated that the move is highly unlikely without sales at Old Trafford and therefore, the deal could be dragged on to next summer.

The 22-year-old England international is one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League and unfortunately, Man United do not have a solid play breaker in the squad. Matic is not a regular starter anymore and is definitely past his best.

Last season, the Hammers star helped his team earn qualification to the Europa League and he was highly impressive for the Three Lions at the European Championships as well.

In your opinion, who should Man Utd sell to fund the £100million signing of Declan Rice?
